Impulsive and boisterous, Barnett's main duty in Alighieri Syndicate is sabotaging the competition, intercepting convoys and burning down rival's buildings. He started to take work with the mob long before he died in the 1930s to look after his brother and sister after his mother passed, and hides a deep guilt that his early death as a result of this lifestyle left them worse off then when they started.
Background
He was killed very early in his crime career when he found information about an opposing gang's leader that could be used as blackmail. Later that night a gang member dressed as a cop came to his house. Calvin surrendered at the urging of his kid siblings who wanted him to atone for his crimes and start over, however once he was out in the streets where there were no witnesses, the fake cop executed him leaving his body to be found the next morning as a warning, shot through the mouth as to silence him.
